Grainger is a very smart, hard-charging dog with great marking skills. He excels all the Retriever games as well as the Pointing game, consistently demonstrating a rock-solid natural point. Grainger is also a wonderful family companion who loves participating in family activities.
His pedigree is full of top competition dogs giving him an ideal genetic package. He was DNA tested for key genetic markers and his test results are clear. Grainger is a proven producer. His pups are natural and extremely healthy.

Rosie is my Covid pup. She waited for over a year to get the attention she deserved. Thanks to my son, she received some formal obedience training, and this was pretty much it. Despite that, Rosie has become one of my go-to hunting dogs. She has a strong point and naturally backs when another dog is on point. Rosie has impressed more than a few of the so-called pointing dog purists. She simply does it!
Rosie is fifty pounds and a very dark yellow. She has the otter tail that we all like to see. Her personality is infectious and she thrives on attention. Rosie is incredibly smart and highly trainable. While she loves hunting, she is just as content sitting beside me at the pond while I fish, happy to hang out. Rosie is a true three “P” dog–Personality, Point and Performance.
I have no doubt that crossing Rosie with Grainger will produce exceptional dogs. Their potential will only be limited by their owners. In other words, whatever your goals, they are up to the task!!!
All dogs at Radar Kennel are OFA and DNA tested to make sure that you receive a dog that is as healthy as possible. We never cut corners on this part of the breeding and pairing of our dogs.
