Maverick is an exceptionally skilled dog, he achieved 4xGMPR HR by 2.5 years old. While at home he is an incredibly low key and well-mannered family dog who loves to be around people and other dogs. While training and working in the field he is a beast! He has remarkable line manners and a high drive for birds. This dog loves to work! The thrill of the hunt keeps him going whether it be duck, goose, pheasant or just fetching a bumper, Maverick is “all-in” every time. Maverick has perfect health clearances. Lily is a 65 pound female that has no quit in her. She will pretty much destroy an upland field and she is in total control while doing so. In our recent trip to South Dakota, Lily demonstrated her ability to track the most wily roosters and to also stick a point that would rival the best pointing dogs out there. She really has it all!! She also has a supreme personality, in that, she will read your body language and pretty much know what’s up before you speak. Lily has had one litter of pups so far and they have demonstrated these same characteristics. Lily carries nearly forty years of my breeding and she is really a dog that most folks would love to own. Lily will pass along these traits in her pups. The genetics are sound and their ability to learn is very good as well. She also plays the retriever game very well, too.
